Andrew E. Edlund, P.E. of American Engineering Testing, Inc. receives Professional Engineer Licensure

Duluth, Minnesota – AET is pleased to announce that Andrew Edlund recently received licensure as a Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota. Mr. Edlund, a geotechnical/construction engineer for AET, passed the Principals and Practices of Engineering Exam administered in April 2009.

Mr. Edlund earned a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2002 from Michigan Technological University. He joined AET’s Duluth office 2006, and is responsible for client services, preparing bituminous mix designs, directing laboratory and field construction materials testing and inspection projects. He performs construction project management and quality assurance along with preparing geotechnical engineering recommendations. Mr. Edlund is originally from Two Harbors, Minnesota, and currently resides in Duluth, Minnesota with his wife Jen.

In the state of Minnesota, the P.E. designation signifies that a person has obtained a degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university, passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) exam, worked under a registered engineer for 4 years, and passed the rigorous P.E. (Principles and Practices of Engineering) exam.
